Locked Rehab for Women

Shepherd ward is a 10 bed locked rehabilitation ward for females detained under the Mental Health Act 1983. The ward provides intensive rehabilitation for patients with complex needs in a safe and spacious environment. The hospital is situated just one mile from Sheffield city centre and proximate to a wealth of community facilities for which patients can use their extensive leave programmes.

Shepherd ward provides treatment that is multi-disciplinary, comprehensive and collaborative which ensures the delivery of a patient centred recovery approach.
